Hi, my name is D and I am in LOVE with Madrid.
Sure, there have been plenty of nay-sayers, people who warned me against visiting Madrid, people who said the city wasn’t a place to tour. But, you know what?
I LOVE Madrid.
Every inch.
The city pulses. It sings to me. It is one of the most magnificent cities I have ever visited in my entire life.
Yes, some people don’t like it. And, that’s fine.
But me? I was lucky. I had the fortune of meeting locals and having them take me under their wings and showing me the beauty, the excitement, the enchantment … of Madrid.

I know exactly what you’re saying. People always say Barcelona is better but I found that the local Madrilenos are very welcoming and adopt you as their own, more so than in Bcn. I lived in Mdd for two years and had a ball. I will never forget the great nights exploring the vibrant night life and infinite social calender. Every day there is a new place to explore.
Please put some fotos up. Will be looking forward to seeing them.

One thing I have learned is to not listen to anyone else’s opinions about locations, usually their experience is not necessarily the one I want to have. Looking forward to more photos
